The Foundation is a full service institution, which is primarily engaged in the development of education in CEU San Pablo University, a private, Catholic university located in Madrid (Spain) and campus in Madrid and Alcorcón. It was established in 1933 as Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU by the Asociación Católica de Propagandistas. It changed names in 1972 to Fundación Universitaria San Pablo CEU and since 2005 it covers a net of schools and colleges with over 3.000 teachers and 26.000 students. Out of the many academic institutions it runs, the Foundation is mainly known for the prestigious university in Madrid, CEU San Pablo University. The Foundation also runs CEU Cardenal Herrera University, Valencia (1999); CEU Abat Oliba University, Barcelona (2003); Colegio CEU San Pablo, Claudio Coello (1971); Colegio CEU San Pablo, Valencia (1971); Colegio CEU San Pablo, Montepríncipe (1975); Colegio CEU San Pablo, Murcia (1975); and Colegio CEU Jesús María, Alicante (2004). The Foundation is headquartered in Bormujos, Spain.
